Life is lockdown is tough for everyone right now, but imagine if you will, that you are the mother of a tiny baby who has been born too sick or too small, in one of the poorest areas of the world.
Your baby has been admitted to the only neonatal unit in the region and you are 3 days walk from home. No family can bring you food. Moving in lockdown is limited and he food that is available is now too expensive for you to buy.
How will you eat enough food to have the strength to look after your newborn baby and how will you have the energy to produce enough breastmilk to feed her?
Born on the edge has always provided an extra meal a day for the preterm mothers and those struggling to survive in the neonatal unit. With COVID19 lockdown almost EVERYONE is suffering and we have been providing food for up to 30 mothers in the neonatal unit each day.
Watch how our neonatal assistant, Ruth, prepares the food and how Harriet, our other neonatal assistant sees this need.

BUT we have been feeding so many mothers during this COVID19 crisis that money is tight and we need your help.
Please give whatever you can to help these mothers and babies survive this tough time.

It costs just £35 to feed 30 mothers for a week! Every little will help feed these vulnerable mothers and allow them to support and feed their babies.
