A thread: In Flushed Away, Rita's grandma mistakes Roddy for Tom Jones, who is ofc a real man. That means either:
a) She's a rat in love with human Tom Jones
b) There is an identical rat equivalent of Tom Jones

If we go with b) there must be a rat that is identical to Tom Jones in every way, which means there must be an identical rat equivalent of us all, meaning the sewers are a mirrored version of our Earth

Consequently, there must be a human version of Roddy and Rita, but that's hard to believe because Roddy lived with humans.

On the other hand, why would a rat be in love with a human? Furthermore, although she's old, how could she mistake a rat for 5'10" human Tom Jones who is not, might I add, rat looking

Is it normal for a rat to be in love with a human man? Does that not cross some ethical boundry Dreamworks? Moreover, they live a secluded life in the sewers, HOW DOES SHE EVEN KNOW WHO TOM JONES IS?!
