YOU DON& #39;T PRAY | Some years ago, while staying in my school dorm, I heard a roommate praying loudly in tongues. A thought crossed my mind, "Subomi, I& #39;m not sure you pray enough." Then just as quickly, I thought, "You actually do."

You see, at that very moment, I was reading my Bible with a cup of steaming coffee by my side. It& #39;s something I do daily - Caffeine and the Word. I read the Bible everyday and as I do, I meditate deeply and talk to God about what& #39;s "doing me".
Sometimes, I have an agenda and go through each item like a checklist. God simply reminded me that this was prayer and it generated incredible power. I& #39;d been so programmed by religious formats that my first thought was that prayer was loud "skabashing" and worship music.
God seems like a Kaleidoscope. You turn it and see purple patterns. Someone else turns it and sees green. Another, yellow. Perhaps that& #39;s what it means for God to be omnipresent. Different expressions, unique experiences.
An Englishman converses with him in English at the same time a Nigerian prays in Yoruba and a Chinese man speaks in Mandarin. Everyone has a different timeline with God. There& #39;s a beginning, middle and end. Sometimes a person& #39;s timeline doesn& #39;t intersect with another& #39;s.
We are like blind men feeling the Elephant. One touches the trunk & pities the one touching the Ear, assuming he doesn& #39;t really know the Elephant. In the same way, we all think we know God; that we have a complete picture of him. So we look down on those who see something else.
