i'm officially done with people like this

here are some inconvenient facts:
1) in the catholic church, vast majority of the abuse was not the result not of pedophilia, but homosexuality. the victims were teenage boys.
the word "pedophilia" was used by church insiders deliberately to cover up this fact.

2) the abuse largely ended in the 1980s.
yes, there are isolated pockets of evil shit here and there.
that is not the rule and never has been.

3) if you believe Jesus Christ is God made flesh and died to save you from your sins and then stop believing because a priest did bad things, then you never really believed in the first place.

4) cardinal pell was accused of rape. the accusation was obviously false. it was literally impossible for the story to be true as the accuser told it. Pell still got convicted and jailed and victims groups cheerleaded for the mob the whole time.

5) the same victims groups that eternally are screaming are completely silent about abuse of seminarians (because that would look bad for the holy sainted gheys) and about abuse in other institutions, like public school, that is far worse.

6) you don't care about victims of abuse. you're just possessed with obsessive hatred of the church. everyone knows it.
