The story of Indian valour:
As #India is resisting the Chinese intimidating tactics at #laddakh let us remember the Battle of Nauranang. One of the greatest final stands where Rifleman Jaswanth Singh Rawat went up against Chinese soldiers & killed 300 of them singlehandedly.

In 1962, before sunlight dawned over the mountains the Chinese made their ascent into Arunachal Pradesh for the 4th time. It is to be noted that during the precious raid the #Chinese chopped the hands of Buddha statue in Tawang and carried it away as an insult to our forces.

But during this 4th raid they had to face a Rifleman named Jaswanth Singh Rawat belonging to the delta company of the Garwal rifles. The battle started on 17th November, 1962 and lasted for 72 hours. Jaswanth Singh alone held the post firing from different bunkers.

By the time Jaswanth Singh Rawat was done he killed 300 Chinese. More importantly he bought 72 hrs time for Indian army to come with reinforcements. He prevented Chinese conquer of Arunachal Pradesh. That early morning he showed the world the power of Indian will & valour.

Though the Chinese soldiers captured heavily wounded Jaswanth Singh Rawat and killed him the man managed to save our territory single handedly. This is what indians are made of. #laddakh is ours. Even if Pakistan & China combine to wage a war, we will defend our territory. ❤️

P.S.
India is on its way to become an economic superpower. As we are becoming a better educated & developed nation, a section of society is losing patriotism & fighting spirit. The legendary resistance of Jaswanth Singh is to all those to know what our motherland means to us❤️🇮🇳
