Okay, this is a ridiculous thing that’s happening. If you don’t care about the random bits of my childhood my parents have regifted me, please mute this thread.

But first know this: it started with ALL of my old Cabbage Patch dolls and Care Bears. You will never unsee this.
So backstory: ‘Round about 6-7 years ago my parents began purging decades’ worth of STUFF. I started getting questions like, “Do you want these books? Do you want these games?” And so on.
Most of my answers were a resounding, “No.” But there were things, like an old keychain collection, a couple old toys (beyond the above pictured trove), pictures and yearbooks that I said I wanted.
They would come up for a visit and every time they did, there were BOXES. My entire comic book collection was one trip. The suitcases containing the Bears and CP dolls was another. Then my old red wagon (which my Dad had completely restored at some point).
And every trip was more boxes. Boxes inside of boxes. Some of the boxes I peeked into had items in them I didn’t even know still existed. And it goes WAY back. All the way back.
So this thread, however long it ends up being, will be me opening those boxes and sharing snippets of... whatever is inside.

Yikes.
