DO NOT hate on other programs that are nominated, ESPECIALLY NOT in the comments for the live stream... I know we want to support Anne with an E and give it the appreciation it deserves, but that doesn't mean we need to bring down other creators to do so.

Anne with an E is not the only show nominated, there are other people, other lives that are experiencing this event too, this is also important to them and their families as well! Don't spoil this moment for everyone watching by being disrespectful out in the open. PLEASE.

This may not reach everyone, I know the AWAE fandom has A LOT of fans all over the world, but I still want to spread the word anyways... This is so important, even just out of respect for the cast/crew of Anne with an E, we represent them, so please make them proud !

What I'm trying to at least prevent is a mass of tone deaf and self-centered fans in the comments going, "i'm only here for AWAE" and "who cares about this, where is AWAE?"... PLEASE do not be those fans. You can think whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you need to type it

It might not seem like that big of a deal, but I know for a fact there are gonna be a lot of fans doing this, even with me making this thread, so how about we try to have as many fans as we can NOT do it..?

When it starts, don't be nonstop commenting about AWAE, give it a minute. AWAE isn't just gonna pop up on the screen in the first second of the live stream, so calm down and be patient, don't overshadow other creators moments by being like "WHO CARES! NEXT! WHERE IS AWAE?"

Show some appreciation to the event and all the nominees in general... and yes EVEN programs that win against AWAE. You can save your disappointment and vent on social media later if you really feel the need to, but don't do it on the stream itself. that's disrespectful.

Like I said, some fans are gonna be rude no matter what, we can't stop every single fan from saying something they shouldn't, but at least many or some who comes across this thread will have the decency not to

"So much incredible talent this year, looking forward to Anne with an E's potential wins this evening, but best of luck to everyone!"

These are examples of respectful comments, even mentioning AWAE is okay of course, just DON'T come off as if it's your only reason for being there... Are you really that valuable of a viewer if all you care about is one thing? No ! So show appreciation by respecting EVERYONE

That's what most AWAE fans get wrong... we aren't valuable customers if all we care about is AWAE... there is other CBC & Canadian content in general that deserves more recognition and we shouldn't be overshadowing those to get our point across!

So don't say all that matters is AWAE, bc it doesn't.. Yes it deserves more appreciation, but other shows exist too! So be kind and grateful that we are even here to experience this in the first place! Be proud of the cast/crew no matter if they win or lose, because they will be!
