So i'm one of the lucky ones; I've been able to carry on working, leaving the house and driving around to different sites, I've been able to see people. Not my friends or family, but people nonetheless.

However, i have not seen Sam since Margate. We were supposed to see each other the first weekend of lockdown, but well, lockdown...

There have been endless occasions when I've thought "fuck it, i'm going to go see her", but every single time i've thought about it and gone "no"

Unfortunately we are in a situation where others' needs must come before our own, where other solutions to usually simple problems must be found.

So instead I wait, patiently.

Mr Cummings is someone in a privileged position, he works for the man at the top, he also can work from pretty much anywhere he wants so long as there's a phone line.

He also took the decision to break the rules and drive a considerable length for one questionably unnecessary journey, and a second definitely unnecessary journey, not to mention his quick "eye test" drive....

As I said, I've not had it as bad as many, I don't have children to worry about and I still get to see some people, and I am fucking furious. There is nothing I'd like more than to hop in the car and go see my girlfriend, but i have restraint.

So in closing; fuck you Mr Cummings, and fuck you Mr Johnson for supporting him, and fuck all of you front benchers doing the same.
