I so much enjoyed this post. It speaks facts & truth from someone who survived the Biafra war 👇

1) "Now these children who have no historical, social, cultural or economic perspectives listen to those who not only saw war but have studied it from a strategic perspective.
2) Once the war ended in January 1970, the speed with which the Igbos went BACK to Nigeria to seek their livelihood was unprecedented and rightfully so. We came back in tattered penury and any form of an income was very much needed.
3) What was very much in evidence then and NOW is that Igbo land was and still is Too Small a landscape for a mercantile people. They have to stretch to the extra width and length of the nation to actualise this.
4) Presently Igbos have amassed wealth across the entire federation and the last thing they want is to go back to 1970. More importantly the issue of start stop cannot be the lot of Igbos irrespective of who the agitators are.

Igbos need Nigeria and Nigeria needs Igbos are one.
5) Now INDUSTRIALIZING Igbo land with the profits of trade is the best thing that can happen to Igbos. Expecting them to jettison their wealth outside igbo land is utter folly and will not happen. Forming a strategic group to enhance the area is the way forward for that...
6).. renaissance and funded by enterprising Igbos with investments worldwide.

The Clamour for Biafra is just from those who cannot wipe their behinds with a hidden agenda to fleece the unwitted folk. If you care about a people Invest in them not fleece them.
7) As for holding a referendum, the result would be a resounding NO. Igbos do not want to be contained. What they and other Nigerians want and need is FAIR PLAY not another Biafra.
8) I was in IT and I can tell you categorically there was NO unity and a sense of purpose. No there was not!

The end.
