Hi, I’m a person who thinks if unemployment is permanently raised to $550 a wk, no one will want to work. I have no idea that the minimum wage is $780 a week and the average cost of a one bedroom apartment in Sydney is $500 a week. I’m a homeowner who hasn’t paid rent since 1992.
“If it’s expensive in the cities then why don’t they just move to the country?”

Do you want people to find work or not, Karen?
Sarcasm isn’t Denise’s strong suit. Knew I was going to one of these. https://twitter.com/denniallen/status/1265178608953262081?s=21 https://twitter.com/denniallen/status/1265178608953262081
Getting more comments from people who clearly only read the first sentence and didn’t bother to process the information. But yes, it’s true. I’ve been a homeowner since age 9. I was an ambitious and driven child. More people should be like me.
We got another one folks! Simon, maybe if you worked harder you too would’ve been able to stop paying rent to your landlord at the age of 9. Just like I did in 1992. https://twitter.com/simonb1958/status/1265253849909981185?s=21 https://twitter.com/simonb1958/status/1265253849909981185
I deliberately said 1992 so people would know it was a joke. Maybe I should’ve gone with 1962. The year my mother was born.
You got me, Rick. I’ve been a content family woman since 1990. Married at age 7, homeowner by age 9. Never even stepped foot in a city. My house is an underground home near the opal mines in Coober Pedy. https://twitter.com/rick_rampal/status/1265277654019665922?s=21 https://twitter.com/rick_rampal/status/1265277654019665922
