I have this weird but effective pre-purchase behavior. Before I splurge, will always check my financial worksheet to remind myself my cashflow status. Do I have installment purchases? How is my 6-month projection? Pag sumakit ulo ko, thats a sign, I will abandon my purchase. 😂
Been doing this since my first job. I will always ask myself. how do I plan to pay this? What will I sacrifice? Most of the time, I will look for extra income so I can buy things. I remember how I plan to buy my first ipod shuffle. That was only 4k during that time. Haha!
Okay then I remember how I got my first iphone It was 3GS. I sold like 4 2ndhand iphones for 20k sa TipidCP, my margin was like 5 to 8k. That's how I started my savings plan. And then I realize I've been selling iphones na sa buong office namin. My workstation became a tindahan.
It was very successful na I do not understand how it happened. I even have a sales team to get referrals. Haha! And so I save up, because I wanted something bigger, I wanted to buy my freedom and I wanted to study in DLSU's MS Entrepreneurship program.
And so in 2014, I resigned from my work and begin working with startups while I study in grad school. I still like to believe that it is the best decision I've made. And I'm just proud how it all happened.
Hahaha teka bat ba ako napunta dito eh bibili lang naman ako ng PS4 games. End of thread.
