Kihyun says the lead single "Fantasia" is a very liberating and energetic track and is non-conforming in terms of structure. It’s very Monsta X, he added.

Minhyuk on the black & gold outfits: "We chose black and gold as well as vivid outfits. With the keyword being 'Fantasia,' the hidden meaning here is the most beautiful and glorious moment in your life and we tried our best to convey the concept."

Jooheon on the subtitle track "Flow": "I compared us with swans. Swans are always looking glamorous on the surface kind of like celebrities. But underwater, they are paddling furiously. 'Let's stop paddling and just go with the flow in life' is the message for fans.'"

I.M.: "Monsta X’s music in Korean albums are powerful and energetic but the American album was softer easier listening. What we want to say is that we are not limited to certain genres. Rather, we want to show our versatility and potential to pull off a wide range of styles."
