This person certainly did not mean harm, but this tweet, similar tweets, and the interactions around it really sum up some of the problems with twitter, the culture, and the community.
For somebody to say “F”, a meme to “pay respects to the deceased” LEGITIMATELY, not to somebody who d*ed virtually, but for an actual person who actually passed away, is bad. This meme culture on the internet is becoming so obnoxious...
it really seems that some people on Twitter look for ways to fit memes into any interaction. That or they just instinctively reference these memes in normal interactions, which is even worse. But beyond that are the people who dogpile on others who legitimately
don’t know what they did wrong. Like people want so desperately to be in the right, but do this by attacking people and it isn’t okay. I’m just so tired of seeing all the garbage on this site. Sorry for the rambling.
Anyways, I’ll finish this 3am rant by paying my respects to Nimblz. It’s really heartbreaking how they passed at such a young age. Rest In Peace.
