This is bugging me. #Cummings & his wife both work. So they *must* have had regular/reliable childcare already sorted. Even if MrsC was 'working from home', I reckon it's highly likely they'd have had a nanny or childminder taking care of the kid >

Or maybe (just hypothesising here) the childcare had already been stood down - holiday leave, perhaps - & IT JUST SO HAPPENED that ON THAT VERY DAY the Cummingses took ill & took flight?

Not to mention the no doubt ENTIRELY COINCIDENTAL fact that their car happened to have A COMPLETELY FULL FUEL TANK, when they made their sudden, ad hoc decision to go...
