If you're attracted to children and are genuinely ashamed of it, do not want to justify it and want help, but fear a therapists reaction.I understand. So I want to give you a resource to help you.

I genuinely believe that if you have these attractions, and understand that you need help, that you deserve it to the fullest extent and I want to help you with that. But if you start pulling out the pride flag and proudly putting your AOA in your bio, we have a problem.
I understand the appeal of wanting to be with people with the same issues. But one thing you need to understand about mental illness is, groups like that never end well. For example, when I was admitted for my E.D, E.D patients were not allowed to be alone together.
Because they would exchange tips on how not to get caught. This can apply for any mental illness, including pedophiles. So while a group of people who understand sounds wonderful, in this situation it can do more harm than good.
As long as you've never hurt anyone, It's not too late to get help. And as time goes on and I find more resources to help MAPS who want to turn things around, I'll put them here. I will attatch this thread to my pinned tweets.
