more like peter noffin' of value to say
I've really tried to stick to my "no retweeting transphobia on main" rule so this will be my only tweet about it, but hoo boy this might be my least favorite thing he's vomited onto being.
Please don't ask me what he said, as always.
Hey Peter: I and every trans person I know would celebrate the fact that someone I love who is transphobic got fired from their job for being openly transphobic, and no amount of tone policing, victim blaming, or comparing losing their job to dying will convince me otherwise.
Yes, we would like transphobic people to stop being transphobic.

But we'll settle for "Afraid to say that shit out loud lest they ruin their lives"

Same policy we have for nazis.

It's really not difficult.
Sorry, I really had to vent.
Cis woman: *gets fired for being bigoted*
Peter C*ffin: *turns to trans people* How could you do this to her???

Like he's beyond fucking parody now.
Cis people: *by and large never face consequences for their transphobia*
A single cis woman: *is fired*
Peter C*ffin: WON'T SOMEBODY *PLEASE* THINK OF THE BIGOTS???????
"this woman is just going to get more transphobic because of this!"

well that's a real bummer I guess she can't join the revolution then oh no if only actions didn't have consequences
It's not even like we used our magic trans powers to fire her or anything.

We just agree with the firing.

But no, apparently we should angry that people who deny our humanity sometimes face negative consequences for that or else we're shitty leftists.

Eat my ass, buddy.
I feel compelled to mention I think I know why they're doing this. They're still on about left unity. Class solidarity beyond all else.

That's an admirable goal in a vacuum, and we all have to draw the line somewhere, but tone policing and victim blaming isn't going to work.
