I'm sorry but I'm simply not going to go out *shopping* before my parents - who are not vulnerable, elderly or otherwise at risk, and who have been carefully isolating together - can come to my house, or I can go to theirs, for a break from the relentless work/childcare cycle

Of course people want to get the economy moving. I've been deliberately buying from local stores and restaurants to keep businesses in action. But there seems to be no understanding of the true priorities of most people in this country just now. It's not a new pair of jeans

(Which you could buy online anyway. Unlike the emotional and hands-on support of family)
