It's things like this that make me think about leaving video games, as the only thing that people see in gamers now are racism, sexism, misogyny, LGBT-phobia, etc. It puts me in an unhealthy state, & I don't want to deal with being called things by playing Nintendo or something.

Keep in mind, I still want to play games, I still love them, it's just my passion for them has been very disdained nowadays with the way the media has been treating those that play games. All I just want is to pick up a controller without people asking me about my motives.
