Don’t allow outsiders to make you guests in your regions. A man who’s unaware of your struggles and joys should never be allowed to speak about your circumstances and if they do it’s for their own political reasons.

This is a message to the dhulbahante diaspora

A man from Gedo, Garowe, Kismayo or any other region strictly below sool shares no borders with you. Their concerns are always political. Focus on yourself and your regions and don’t allow them to capitalize on your nativity.

Become politically active in local politics. Know who’s interests are paralleled to yours and understand the potential you have in northern politics.

These twitter accounts you follow only create further division amongst diaspora northerners. They shouldn’t be your voice.

With that being said re-learn your true history. Connect with fellow northerners and discuss things that affect all of you equally.

The sociopolitical scenes on twitter aren’t reflective of the reality but I fear that maybe the case if we don’t wake up soon.
