Hi,
So i watched "From up on the poppy hill" by Studio ghibli yday and it made me realize how big of a fan i am of studio ghibli so in order to recognise the inner fangirl in me i am going to write reviews of all the studio ghibli I've watched. This will be a review thread :)

I'll start with "From up on the poppy hill" - This is a beautiful story between a girl named 'Umi' and a boy named 'Shun' , The art illustration of poppy hill is magnificent, the hill resides near the river so Umi can see boats amd ships coming and going from her garden +

Umi is a fatherless daughter of a working woman who goes to America to practice medicine, so Umi manages all the chores in the house.
Shun resides on the other side of the river and is dropped at the poppy hill by his father for his school. Umi amd Shun meet and develop feelings

For each other while working to save a cultural building which holds different clubs from and for students, they realise their feelings for each other contacting through flags. Well there's a big twist in the movie which i am not going to narrate here keeping a little bit of+

ART : The art illustrations are so beautifully portrayed throughout the movie, studio Ghibli is known for its beautiful art illustrations, so, there's no saying in that it was a really beautiful and heart warming movie to watch.
I'd recommend this movie 100%. +

Review : The movie left a big smile on face, I always feel so complete and content after watching studio ghibli movies, they always leave a mark on me. This movie did the same. I loved the friendship, the relationships between each character.

I'll carry on this thread everyday now, summarising and reviewing all the Studio Ghibli movie that I've watched :)
