If you’re a team owner, why would you want to resume regular season? No fans, no tix sales, but you have to pay like remaining $20-30 M in team salaries? They’d much rather skip forward to playoffs, where they pay players pennies on the dollar but get big $$ from national TV deal

Players & @TheNBPA have all of the leverage here. They’ve played 80% of the games; they’re due 80% of their salary. Most get paid through Oct. Something drastic would have to happen for them to NOT get paid for work already done. Wonder if every player in league knows this info?
