If you say that in 2020, a global pandemic disproportionately wiping out the poor & people of color is “to be expected”, then I would like to remind you that aeroplanes made transcontinental travel possible for the masses that wasn’t possible before.

We need the *will* to change

That means DON’T let the gas lighters tell you that this is just how the world works.
It’s not.
People WILLED this specific world order into existence.
No longer can we say that people are starving because food is scarce. We can feed the world.
Access to it is about money & power

Same with access to healthcare. Here’s where this pandemic comes into focus.
Healthcare, like a living wage, isn’t denied to the poor because they are not as hard working as others.
It’s deliberately withheld by greedy people in power to enrich themselves.
We have an opportunity.

Instead of getting dutifully back into our respective seating arrangement in this economy, w poor & people of color in nosebleed seats, let’s use this time to organize into economic units that reject old models & hierarchy.
Let’s rearrange capitalism’s face w our raised fists.
