Our orange tabby, Oliver, got outside about an hour ago. He's an indoor cat who's very curious lately about outside and when my brother let the dogs out he booked. We had him in sight but couldn't get to him,then he saw our hound and he went up a tree about 12 feet.

We didn't have a ladder tall enough so we used our 6 foot step ladder and a broom and knocked him out of the tree. He fell to the ground on our neighbors side of the fence and we lost sight of him. We searched for nearly an hour. Our hope is he went under the neighbors

shed and once he calms down he will come out. We placed some bath towels my brother has used and some used cat liter outside next to them. My brother thinks he won't know his way back home because he doesn't know the smells of our yard. I'm hopeful he's nearby.
