Positivity tweet: today we had a tire blow out at 70 mph in the middle of nowhere AZ, temps pushing 100. Wife’s car had a full size spare but no lug wrench. Nice young couple stopped and helped change it out. Refused my offer of payment like 10 times. Still good people out there.

And the guy’s name was Jesus! Told him some dirty jokes in Spanish in lieu of payment. We found Jesus on the side of SR-74 ten miles outside of Morristown, Arizona today.

So thanks to Jesus, the family and Kevin are safe back here in the backyard in Phoenix, and now I’m safely listening to Gordon Lightfoot while I chainsmoke heaters instead of being eaten by coyotes on a desert highway
