let's talk about my king of redemption arcs, prince zuko.

my interpretation of zuko's big 3 are the following: aries sun, sagittarius moon, capricorn ascendant.

aries sun: we all know zuko acts on impulse, and he thinks his destiny is to perform a lifelong chase to prove himself.
mars, the planet of war, is aries' ruler. a majority of zuko's life has been both an internal battle and external.

sagittarius moon:
it's not that zuko lacks empathy, but his emotional side has been undervalued by others. his emotional nature is adventurous, with a never-ending optimism about a successful mission.
with experience and understanding others', zuko develops empathically.

capricorn rising:
capricorn is known to be associated with the father.
zuko's father left a permanent scar on his face (rising represents appearance), in an attempt to teach him a lesson. in turn, zuko is majorly defined by this.
doesn't get more saturnian than that.
