I would very much like to know what the @NYPD did in this case. Here in Seattle, a false 911 call is a misdemeanor.

I’ve work with @SeattlePD and @ADL on “swatting:” a false 911 call to try and get police to respond to bogus claims w the goal of terrorizing and causing bodily harm. Her repeated threat to tell the police that an “African American is threatening”
her makes me feel this is inline

Often times swatting will use race and play into the inherent bias of some police officers. @LeonardPittsJr1 was one such example, who was brought out of his house at Gun point at 3am.

Cooper, in my opinion, was using race to insinuate that the police would believe her because she was white and he was black, thus allowing her to claim she was the victim. Frightening, indeed.
