This weekend was the perfect microcosm for my quarantine, which comprises good days and bad days. Sunday I ran 5 miles, cooked two elaborate meals, and wrote 2,000 words. Saturday I moved from my bed to my couch to my bed, and played an addictive game on my phone for 6 hours.

IMO those Instagram memes I keep seeing are too binary. The ones like, “You don’t have to be productive, don’t leave bed, you are wonderful!!” and, “Get up fat ass! Show this pandemic who’s boss like Shakespeare and Einstein did.”

For me, average (my average, to be clear) is aspirational.

I’m not sure what the point of this thread is except maybe to say... stop sharing text-only posts on Instagram? It’s for pictures.
