I'm not gonna share that video of that white woman calling in a hit on the dude filming her, but I hope folx in my industry understand that fear of that precise scenario moves with me wherever I go and whoever I'm with. Some of y'all have no idea how terrified I am all the time.

My apartment's in the middle of a narrow hallway and any time a white woman gets off the elevator in front of me, I automatically have to give wide berth, and I've done this for so long I don't even give it a second thought.

It's one of those things where all it takes is the tiniest thing for my walking or running or sitting anywhere to be turned into a worst-case scenario...just cause. You could be a nice white woman 364 days out of the year but I happen to walk by on the 1 bad day. All it takes.

Anyway, that's been sitting inside me all day. Didn't know if I should say anything or not, but given the industry I'm making my career in is populated predominantly by white women, it seemed like a thing I needed to say.
