A thread on Manchester United player, Anthony Martial on why he deserves more credit...
Among several other qualities, there's one thing that makes a good striker; his/her Finishing. It's not entirely about the amount of goals he scores, rather, it's the amount of chances he can successfully convert.
Between a striker who scores 50 goals of his 150 chances and a striker who scores 26 of 30 chances, the latter is to be more recognized of his ability on the ball.

Anthony Martial has 11 goals in 23 games in the Premier League this season, the 7th highest tally in the division.
In those games, he has only missed 8 big chances provided for him setting him with the likes of Salah and Aubameyang, but in a fewer amount of games.
Only Danny Ings and Harry Kane has missed less.

Although, Marcus Rashford has 3 goals more than the Frenchman in the 22 appearances he has made (as a winger), 5 of them were penalties. Martial has only played 3 minutes more than Rashford even during his absence.
Don't get me wrong, Rashford is a brilliant player but as a winger, the ball gets to be at your feet more than as a striker, therefore giving him an opportunity to create more chances for himself.
Which brings to the problem of Manchester United...
Creativity
Anthony Martial has had leave the creative duties to the likes of Lingard, Perriera and an old Juan Mata having just 5 assists collectively in the PL.
It is well observed that playing alongside Bruno Fernandes has gotten him to a point where he scores a goal at least a goal (emphasis on the least) a goal a game.
The call for the likes of Timo Werner, Jimenez and the likes to be signed will not prove of value because where there's little or no creativity they tend to disappear more often than normal because we can't possibly guarantee Bruno and Pogba not being injured for seasons to come.
You'd be surprised to know that Timo Werner has missed as many chances than Rashford and Martial combined.

And that's just in the Bundesliga.
The purpose of this thread is not to shame any player, but to put some players in a brighter light and understand why the sale of Anthony Martial will be at our loss rather than gain.
