Do you know how many URM students want to study economics, but then the math/models/ etc. feel like a barrier to their success in the major or beyond? More than you think. Its not even because they can't do it, it's because they're not empowered to believe that they can.
And even the ones who understand the math still get told that they can't do economics.... like me.

It's almost as if some people in the field believe that learning economics is an innate ability reserved for a few. 🍵

But its not...anyone can study economics. ANYONE.
Yeah, anyway, economics is awesome and I hope that the professors are intentional about making lectures more inclusive.

The only reason I am interested in econ is because my macro professor connected human capital and African development. Literally, blew. my. mind.
