Nigerian: *Posts pictures of celebration after a long religious fast to signal blessings from virtue - Really just crass bragging*

Others: You shouldn't do that when there are so many poor people near you.

Me: What if, this is what the poor need to see to be motivated to act?
Others: It is unfair, it is stolen money.

Me: Did you see them steal it?

Others: You are defending the thieves!

Me: Did you catch them stealing?

Others: They stole all our money!

Me: When did you last pay taxes and demand accountability?

Others: That is not the point.
We keep directing our anger at the wrong people and the wrong things. Cars are meant to be bought by those who can afford them. Never tell anyone how to spend their money if they don't tell you how to spend yours.

If you have proof that they stole, report them to EFCC. Oh, Wait!
When 50 Cent explained why he bought Mike Tyson's house after he made $38m from a tour, I understood again why rich people buy expensive things. The alternative is to give the money to the government as taxation. If you don't trust that government, you spend it on luxury.
I will rather live in an expensive house and buy an expensive car than give hard-earned income to the government to funnel to the pockets of dirty politicians.
