Matt Ryan will be a top 5 QB this season. Thread below.
Ryan has done "poorly" his first year under a new OC. This is simply because not only is he learning a new system but the team is as well. It takes time for everyone to not only learn the system but also build chemistry in the system.
In 2015, Ryan's first year with Kyle Shanahan, he threw for 4,591 yards and 21 TDs. In 2016, 4,944 yards and 38 TDs.

In 2017, Ryan's first year with Steve Sarkisian he threw for 4,095 yards and 20 TDs. In 2018, 4,924 yards and 35 TDs.
In 2019, Ryan's "first" year with Dirk Koetter back as his OC he threw for 4,466 yards and 26 TDs.

Below are his yearly finishes in #FantasyFootball

2015: QB19 2016: QB2
2017: QB15 2018: QB2
2019: QB11 2020: ?
Ryan was sacked the most times in his career last season, 48.

The offensive line is returning 4 starters and Atlanta drafted Matt Hennessy in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft. Hennessy will be in a battle for the LG position and will eventually be Alex Mack's successor.
Chris Lindstrom, Atlanta's 14th overall draft pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, missed 11 games last season. Lindstrom looked very promising and will be a strong anchor inside the interior for years to come.
Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Todd Gurley, Hayden Hurst, and Laquon Treadwell.

Atlanta has 5 former 1st round skill players on offense, and could potentially yield 11 former 1st rounders on their starting offense.
Rodgers, Wentz, and Wilson are all being taken ahead of Ryan. Take the discount and draft him later on.

With rushing upside being a large part of fantasy football now Ryan likely won't finish as the overall QB1, but he will give you top 5 upside. @DLFootball
