The bushfire royal commission will recommence at 10am.

I'll be tweeting along again (perhaps not quite as much as yesterday, do need to write actual articles sometimes)

First witness today is Prof Lisa Gibbs, a public health researcher from Melb Uni who specialises in disaster recovery and community resilience. She did heaps of work around Black Saturday.

Next is assoc. prof Fay Johnston from UTAS, who I think will talk smoke inhalation.
Then it's Dr Penelope Burns, a disaster medicine specialist and GP who has researched the role of GPs in helping communities respond to disasters.

Last up before lunch is Tim Cashmore, the principal of Mallacoota P-12 College.
After lunch it's John Price, the lead insurance ombudsman from the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.

Then Kate Carnell, the Australian small business and family enterprise ombudsman.
The final two witnesses of the day will be Australian Red Cross emergencies director Noel Clement and another Mallacoota resident, Kirsty Hargreaves.
