okay so. i’m tired of seeing y’all using aave all day long. « period », « chile », « ratchet », « he do be », « i be.. », « turn it up », « deadass », « ...-ass » all of this is african american venicular english also called AAVE, ebonics. if you’re NOT black don’t say it.

black people have been talking like this and ofc we were called dumb uneducated and « ghettos » for using those kind of words since apparently it’s « bad english » while it’s a fcking dialect. white people would eventually make fun of us for speaking that way as you can see :

so ofc it’s extremely TIRING to see non black people using our dialect just to be seen as cool and trendy while we are called dumb for using it. it offends me.
and most of the times y’all don’t even use it wrong and it sounds weird in y’all mouth.
