I'm going to go sculpt Darrin's paws

I'm going to need three sets, soft paws, claws out and fists

Toe claws slightly extended.

Getting the ref for scale and a few concept sketches, the foot is almost an afterthought

So I do not remember where I learned this technique and this thread is incredibly fine for this scale, the knots are my own addition and not strictly required but they will be useful landmarks in setting the initial pose. The first pairs I made were too heavy a thread weight

Anyway I have just started the second had and realized that I have 5 more to go

This is very tedious stuff and while perfection isn't required the level of precision cannot be overstated.

It's not hyperbole that learning this art contributed to my divorce.
