Currently 360-no-scoping people in the comments who get all of their information about the gender pay gap from 2015 YouTube, how's your day going? https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1264980497849036801
Don't you love when people don't read the source behind an article and assume it's an old-ass study easily debunked by a layman on the internet? Instead of a massive 72-page literature review of content from peer-reviewed academic journals? Funny, that.

I hate - HATE - when people beg for a reasonable analysis of complicated issues like the gender pay gap, and then still throw a fit when one arises. There's still a gender pay gap in healthcare even AFTER the most common differences are accounted for. AFTER.
Look, it even points out the small subversive ways that women can get left behind in pay.

At what point do we admit that there's a problem and start discussing a solution? Instead of keeping our heads in our asses because we want to pretend that legal rights means full equality?
It's times like these that I wish I still gave a shit about making YouTube videos. I would love to debate any "skeptic" who tries to refute this analysis.

Literally issuing a "debate me about it on stream bro" challenge to anyone who's open to it. Fight me, I'm bored.
As for why we should care about the gender pay gap, and how we can move forward? Once again, I'll let the study do the talking.

Do better, "skeptics".
