how sharpay was done dirty in the HSM series, a mini-thread:

HSM1: Sharpay and Ryan had been in school musicals since they were in elementary school, and obviously have invested thousands of hours in stage productions; they deserved to be the main stars of Twinkle Town

HSM2: Sharpay wanted Troy to succeed and gave him opportunity after opportunity to further his connections for college scholarships, but all he wanted was to hang with his friends like??? You dumb boy it's possible to do BOTH

HSM3: When Gabriella left school early to go to Stanford's early admission program, she DITCHED THE MUSICAL, and left Sharpay to fill the role because this was her passion and wholeheartedly deserved it more than Gabriella.

These ATROCITIES fully cement the notion that Sharpay was ROBBED of fulfilling her dream and being able to attend Juilliard, b/c she lost her main roles TWICE in her final years of high school, (though this was eventually resolved in Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure).
