I believe criticism is good where it’s justified. Beaconhouse Multan (Both Alevels and Olevels) was a shitty place in terms of a house of education. We all had fun because of the friends we had and crazy things we did. Other than that, teachers only cared about politics how to.. https://twitter.com/_hashirahmed/status/1265007690671144960
reach up the hierarchy (becoming the coordinator or the head). There were a handful of teachers who actually cared about teaching, the rest only cared about making money; hunting for students to bring in their academies. There was no focus on mental health, wellbeing, growth...
or teaching. P.E for example, we were given a ball and asked to play, no one taught us how to play. Kids who played after school were better than other and were chosen represent the school in tournaments, the rest weren’t given an opportunity to learn, play or grow. There was no
chance that you’ll get into LUMS. (Even though he can he has the grades). She put him down. Why? Why not force the students to be better than they are? Why not motivate them to do better? Achieve better?
All she knows is how to cash the one’s who get into good universities..
after studying in academies. I wish that one day I can talk to her in person to tell her that this is no way how you run and educational institute and if Allah wills I will one day create an educational institute that will provide the students of what we were deprived of.
There are many other things, weird things that went down here. A building doesn’t stand if it’s foundations are weak. How do we expect Pakistan to rise if it’s educational system (private and public) is messed up. I am privileged that I got to study from a..
private institute and I am greatful but the education, growth and learning is not justified for the amount of money they hoard.
Most you must think it’s funny coming from me since I’m studying in US University and talking shit about Pakistani educational system. But that’s it, I’m true to my roots, I came here to learn why and how they’re better so one day I can make my country better. In Shaa Allah.
Our generation is being labelled as retweetists and we have to change that, we cannot just see a tweet about an issue and retweet it, we have to work to make it better. If we bring this culture is Pakistan then no one can stop us from growing into a proud aspiring nation.
