okay I've posted about this before, but I wanted to make an actual thread for my farm au! I'll add onto this with different ideas that I have, but I wanted to keep track of the things I posted before too https://twitter.com/merulusart/status/1263884097425899526

so firstly, in this giorno is 18, narancia is 19 (but turns 20 early on), fugo is 19, mista is 20, bruno is 24, and abbacchio is 25. trish shows up later and she's 17!

- Narancia has lived with bruno for about 5 years. His backstory is really similar to canon until he gets out of juvie. He has an eye infection and is very sick, and when he tries to get food from the farmers market happening in town he gets shooed away and winds up in an alley

a rich-looking boy (fugo) who was there with his family notices him, breaks off from his family, and goes to one of the sellers (bruno) asking if he could buy that kid food. Bruno gives him the food in a bag for free
fugo then goes to the alley and gives the food to narancia

but he has to rush back to his family so he doesnt get in trouble however, narancia notices the name of the farm on the bag
hes able to get directions to the farm a day or two later, and when bruno sees him he ends up taking him in and is able to nurse him back to health

even once hes healthy, narancia's vision in his previously infected eye wont ever be that good and he's still way too skinny and a bit malnourished, but he begs bruno to let him stay and work for him, and bruno talks with his father about it and eventually agrees to let him stay

(ofc bruno gets narancia into a healthier shape before he actually let's him work)
since he hadn't had someone actually care about him since his mom died, narancia ends up becoming very attached to bruno and he considers him to basically be his big brother.

narancia remembers the boy who was the catalyst to him meeting bruno and fugo sometimes wonders what ever happened to that boy he gave food to that one time, but when they actually meet years later they dont realize who each other is oops

okay onto some shorter ones LMAO

- Mista totally sings to his chickens when he thinks hes alone. He actually has a nice voice, but he'll sing things like Top of the World by The Carpenters to them so he finds it embarrassing, plus narancia would totally tease him if he found out

- bruno and abbacchio kinda have a slowburn thing going on, abbacchio is an ex-cop who lives in a tiny house down the road, and his life isnt going great. honestly the highlights of his week are whenever he stops by the farm, and he and bruno have become friends over the years

- narancia and mista like to play music from mista's phone and sing to it together, sometimes they convince giorno to sing with them and they sound pretty good together
fugo refused to join at first at first, but they convinced him to and his voice was actually really pretty!!!

- mista commutes and studies culinary arts at college, but he spends most of his free time at the farm. Giorno is going to be starting college in the fall, and fugo is studying law but only because his parents are forcing him

- bruno likes to fish when he gets the chance, but his other hobby is painting
he likes to go out and paint landscapes and sometimes portraits, and when narancia was still recovering he would watch him paint but would always fall asleep and bruno would have to carry him back home

... nowadays narancia tells everyone that this never happened and bruno was just trying to embarrass him, but no one really believes him LMAO

okay I think that's all for now? I'll probably add on some stuff later, maybe do some sketches if I get the energy
but I'm having a lot of fun with this! I love giving the bucci gang an opportunity to just live and be happy
