My ranking of every Eurovision winner, a thread
This is 1000% my opinion alone so if you don't agree with it you'll be alright
67) Puppet On A String (๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง 1967)
The only Eurovision winner I actually cannot stand. I guess I understand why it won, since it was reflective of pop music from that time, but it's still just awful I'm sorry
66) Why Me? (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช 1992)
Hate the lyrics, the melody is boring, the dress is abysmal. Linda did sound good here, at least. I wish she had won with a better song. Or I wish Cyprus won.
65) Boom Bang-a-Bang (๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง 1969)
This song is annoying too but not to the same extreme as '67. The other 3 winners in 1969 are far superior and don't deserve to be on the same level as this
64) Rock'n'Roll Kids (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช 1994)
1994 has a lot of great songs but this wasn't one of them. I am so bored
63) Running Scared (๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ฟ 2011)
Also boring
62) Si la vie est cadeau (๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ 1983)
Honestly some aspects of this song are nice but overall I continue to be bored
61) Un premier amour (๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท 1962)
It had potential, with a nice melody and great vocalist, but the repetitive parts drive it down the list for me.
60) Tom Pillibi (๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท 1960)
Not bad, but doesn't really do anything for me.
59) Everybody (๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ช 2001)
Honestly it's a fun entry but it just doesn't compare to the rest of this list. Like, this doesn't even feel like it belongs on a WINNER list, you know?
58) Un banc, un arbre, une rue (๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡จ 1971)
It's kinda good but not up there for me
57) Making Your Mind Up (๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง 1981)
Another song that's like, fun and catchy, but not really a winner vibe. Like, not a life-changing serve. Not bad, I just like other songs more, kinda thing. A fine song.
56) I Wanna (๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ป 2002)
Kinda the same as what I said about Estonia but I think it deserved to win its year more and I like it a bit better
55) Net als toen (๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ 1957)
A nice, classic ballad. I like it when I'm listening to it but otherwise I don't give it a lot of thought. It doesn't stay with me as much.
54) La, la, la (๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ 1968)
Fun, happy, and interesting from an instrumental perspective. 1968 had better songs though, so as a winner it doesn't convince me that much, but otherwise it's a nice song.
53) Satellite (๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช 2010)
I used to DESPISE this but I got over it. I think it's pretty good now but there's still 52 better winners in my opinion oop
52) Hard Rock Hallelujah (๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฎ 2006)
I 100% respect Lordi for being incredible performers and giving Finland their first win in 46 years in such an unforgettable manner. But the song is just fine in my opinion, not really my style.
51) Fly On The Wings Of Love (๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ 2000)
I don't have much to say about this other than it's good and I like it.
50) Take Me To Your Heaven (๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช 1999)
This is another winner that I used to hate, but now I think it's good. (But not a favorite)
49) Insieme: 1992 (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น 1990)
This has never really been a fave of mine but I like it more now than I used to. The message is great but as a song it doesn't draw me in that much, but it's still good.
48) Un jour, un enfant (๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท 1969)
I really like the lyrics and her voice but the pacing of the song is kind of odd in my opinion, as is her stage presence. Overall it's a good entry though.
47) Merci, chรฉrie (๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น 1966)
Nice song, pretty instrumental. Feel bad putting it low but it's not as exciting or special to me as other winners. However it is still a good song.
46) Dors, mon amour (๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท 1958)
This song gets a lot of shit for winning over Volare, and I guess I understand that, but it's still a good song even if you disagree with whoever voted that year.
Not bad at all, I quite enjoy it.
45) The Voice (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช 1996)
Eimear does have the voice, but the song is just good in my opinion. I enjoy it but I like other songs more.
44) Ding-a-Dong (๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ 1975)
Pretty good, has a great 70s sound. Another winner that I like more now than I used to.
43) Believe (๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ 2008)
We're starting to approach really good/great song territory. It feels bad putting Dima this low because I do really like this but ugh too many good song
42) Non ho l'etร  (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น 1964)
I still think this is lovely and really good but it's grown off me a bit compared to other songs here.
41) All Kinds of Everything (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช 1970)
Similar to the previous tweet, except this one actually grew on me more lol! It's really good.
40) Nocturne (๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด 1995)
I fully understand that this was supposed to be as much of an instrumental piece as possible but I do wish it had more lyrics, I think I'd like it even more.
39) Only Teardrops (๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ 2013)
A really good, solid winner. I vibe with other songs more but I really enjoy this one too.
38) De troubadour (๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ 1969)
This is so nice and unique. It's grown on me a lot lately and now I really enjoy it!
37. Vivo cantando (๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ 1969)
A great song with a very 60s sound and performance, it's very good. I wouldn't mind if this or Netherlands had won on their own (or France, which wasn't bad either)
36) Hallelujah (๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ 1979)
A great song and classic performance. Kinda wish this ended up higher but there's so many great winners from here!
35) Refrain (๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ 1956)
A great kick-off to the legacy of Eurovision winners. I really like this song and I love Lys' performance of it.
34) Heroes (๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช 2015)
A great song and really good performance. Very catchy and memorable!
