Lots to unpack from this bullshit tweet, but what I find most striking:

The media as "enemy of the people" for reporting on how Cummings has broken a national lockdown - endangering lots of people's lives. https://twitter.com/Catherineseye/status/1264680073875148802
Funnily enough, the Mail used that same line on a front page a few years ago, but are apparently now "enemies of the people" themselves after going after Cummings?

The revolution really does eat its own.
That's before you get onto the anger from 'the people' at Cummings this weekend.

It's come from across the political spectrum, and seems to have got to a stage where a majority want Cummings out.

If the media are "enemies of the people", I don't know which people they mean.
Some really are so far down the garden path that they'll mindlessly trot out these bs slogans - seemingly by instinct.

Not only "enemy of the people", but the 'sc*m media' hashtag too.

It's not just criticism of the media. It's insidious, fascistic, and has been on the rise.
