Guys I cut my hand kinda bad on a spinning blender blade. I did first aid, and the firefighters wrapped it up good. I went to urgent Care to get stitches but they're closed.
I was upset learning the details of my cousin's death in The Persian Gulf War.
I should've calmed down more before I started working with blades. My denial tough guy issues I guess.
I never knew the details were declassified until Just this morning I found a 2017 article.
Apparently he died from a friendly artillery shell that malfunctioned and fell short
He left his track because their radio broke. Then an artillery malfunctioned or a human made a fatal error.
So he died basically because of shitty equipment and/or training.
I can tell you from my time in the USCG, I had to deal with outdated and low quality equipment.
I've shot 8 different handguns and the USCG issue Berrettas are absolutely POS's that jam all the time. Made me feel like they don't care about my life.
When I became a radio tech, we were still using Vietnam War era tube radios with moving parts that would break frequently.
I'm happy we have a solid Commander-in-Chief that cares about our military members to make sure they have all they need to do their job. God Bless President Trump. The traitors from the past will come to justice.
All will come to light.
