I know we talk a lot about the ego maniac grandstanding of @Sflecce. He’s so annoying but the gross incompetence is really apparent in many areas due the lack of willingness of @fordnation to communicate with not only teachers but also school boards. Cond

2/ For example our board is about 3 months behind in timetabling. This is because of a variety of reasons. 1) they still don’t have their funding for the next school year. 2) the slow speed of negotiations has led to not knowing how many students to fund per teacher

3/ Out board still doesn’t know the last day of school for secondary, there are many year end tasks that have to be done, and report cards, promotion meetings, year end clean up and inventory. In fact there hasn’t even been clarity on what report cards will entail

4/ note this is not normal. This is usually a very collaborative process between boards and govt.

5/ and now we have the reopening of schools. The ministry is not collaborating or giving guidelines to what they expect. @Sflecce is leaving that most likely to a media announcement- who knows when

6/ All of this just points to a minister only interested in grandstanding and not what’s best for education... how can they be trusted with the health and safety of children and education workers when they have no desire to engage in any aspect of the education world?
