@yourewrongabout info for Michelle Remebers series. Used to live on Vancouver Island and my good friend moved there '71. There are things in this story that make so much more sense if you know the Island. So I thought I'd share. Local paper always features weird local crime.
My favourite while I was there include someone stealing a canister of bull semen and the guy who robbed the liquor store and then got drunk in it and got arrested. @RottenInDenmark I totally believe they've published the cult story and would do it again today no hesitation 🤣
Think I can explain how Michelle came up with satanic poetry @yourewrongabout Victoria University there was professor in the 70s who was also a self-declaree Warlock Poet. He performed a public exorcism to cast the demons (politicians) out of the provincial parliament
A devote Catholic in Victoria in the 70s would be primed to believe satanic cults were rising as it was rapidly becoming a hippie destination... recommended reading for @Remember_Sarah on BC in the 70s 'What Not to Wear to a Nudist Potluck & Other Stories from Desolation'
I might also add such facts as... I 1900s a British gentle moved his sex cult to the Island, in the 70s the local paper's agricultural section included an update on how the pot crops were doing despite it being illegal. Knowing the island, it's easy to see how this book happened
