No I don’t believe innocent Black Men should be behind bars, but why are Black Men considered innocent when they harm or kill Black girls and Women? Where is the outrage.
Like fr it seems like thats the case because when Black men are found guilty of femicide against Black Women, theres very little outrage.
Like, why is one more outraging than the other? Are Black Men only considered innocent when they kill and harm us?
By the way, I was higly offended by that tweet. It was an unnecessary jab by someone who refuses to hold Black Men accountable for their participation in Toxic Patriarchy and Anti-Blackness. I actually do not support the 1619 project as a result.
But again, this is why the effort to undermine Joe Biden coming from a person who admitted to sexually assaulting a Black girl in his life time really bothers me the most.

But still the underlying element of his antics scream “We cannot trust that Black Women know what they’re doing so we need to continue to press the Democratic nominee because we don’t trust the Black Women who voted for him”. Charlamagne Tha God isnt a Democrat....
And the fact of the matter is that Charlamagne Tha God was still able to reach commercial success despite his crimes which were committed against Black Women/Girls. Harvey Weinstein is always brought up but Charlamagne also confessed to rape and it was barely a headline.
Hell atleast Harvey Weinstein lost his fortune but I guess that only happens when white women are victims of sexual assault. That’s why yall still bumping R Kelly.
If R Kelly was posted up at Lincoln Way East HS or Whitney Young picking up teenaged White Girls do yall believe that man would have been able to terrorize the WHITE community for almost 3 decades?! Lol
Charlamagne Tha God admitted to drugging and raping women in his youth and the Black men around him all but damn near clapped in congratulations to him. Its like a badge of honor, a rite of passage for young Black men to grow through the violence they subject us to.
This happens too much in popular Black culture and I for one am tired of it. Black Men, like White Women do not navigate this world like Black Women and they cannot relate to the type of erasure we face this is the TRUTH.
Do I think Joe Biden ate his foot with that comment of course! Am I still voting for his ass? Absolutely because I already voted for him in March and wouldn’t blink an eye to do it again.
The issue I have here with both of these men is that they both feel entitled to the acknowledgment and labor of Black Women. No Joe you are not owed shit and Charlamagne neither are you. Both of you need to be better ally’s to us period.
Charlamagne doesn’t deserve his platform and he hasn’t done enough work to answer for the years of abuse he subjugated so many women too, for him to be considered a thought leader in Black womens efforts to reach prosperity.
His voice is better served teaching young Black Boys and men about self control and consent. I don’t need to hear any opinions from an admitted rapist and predator on a presidential election bottom line
I also don’t need to hear our nominee grand standing about who is Black and who aint. Stick to policy Joe. Pick Kamala and get to work on making this country liveable again!
