/ I am seeing a lot of posts, articles on fresh grads from various colleges asking for opportunities because their existing offers got rescinded. In response I also see a lot of people offering jobs or connects to someone who can help with a job.
/ My key takeaway was whatever changes we face, positive or negative, bring up new customer needs. And customer needs are at the core of any business.
/ However I doubt that starting up instead of hunting for new jobs right now has little to do with the pandemic and more to do with the general consensus about 'first gain some experience and then build your own thing'
/ I had skipped college placements despite graduating as a CS engineer (DCE) to work on my previous startup right out of college. I surely made mistakes that I wouldn't make today. But my skills and strengths today are an outcome of having the experience of running an entreprise
/ from what I know we were ~4 people out of a batch of 1600 who didn't take up jobs or post grad admits and worked on our startups instead. A similar ratio was seen in our immediate senior batch @championswimmer @ArushKakkar @amanpriyadarshi @30Manik @chiraagkapil
/ There are some more first time founders in the ecosystem who are crushing it at their respective startups @prukalpa and @aayushjaiswal07 come to my head as I write this.

Would love to know what you think stops them?
