If I had to nail down my biggest issue w/ Secret Lair discourse it’s either the inability to acknowledge the destructive combination of self worth/validation by material ownership in our community or unaddressed rampant addiction issues expressed as borderline financial self-harm

To clarify: please hold corps accountable, and bring to light their heinous practices. All they want is your money, and they& #39;ll commodify your physical and social isolation at the drop of a hat. Recognize the difference between the corp and the ppl who create the game you love.

There& #39;s a huge issue w/ validation via materialism, and it leads people down a path of financial ruin and self-harm. It isn& #39;t always the easiest to spot/discuss, but making people feel like their worth isn& #39;t intrinsically tied to fucking cosmetics in their hobby is step 1.
