So disappointed @AmericanAir and having anxiety over how my health was put at risk. The person next to me refused to wear a mask in accordance with your policy. I intentionally flew FIRST CLASS for space on a 787-8. The stewardess said masks were optional. App says otherwise.

The @AmericanAir attendant later returned saying mask were mandatory, but not for kids. This was a 16-17 year old Caucasian girl. I explained that Iâm in the HIGH RISK category as an African-American male with asthma and other health issues. No other accommodation was offered.
There was more concern by the attendants to accommodate this girl, who wasnât wearing a mask, than a 53 year old black male in the high risk category. They didnât try to move her or me. And there was no partition to raise between us on this @AmericanAir 787-8. Unacceptable.
I pray to God that I wasnât exposed to #COVIDăŒ19. My first call will be to my counsel because @AmericanAir absolutely put me at risk and Iâm feeling anxious about it.
Just another day #FlyingWhileBlack on @AmericanAir
