Sometime before Christmas 2017 my fraternity brothers and I completed an annual tradition of helping a friend of our chapter, a professor emeritus of music, decorate his church for Christmas. Afterward, he wanted to treat us to dinner and we chose Applebee's.
The food came out in the wrong order and unevenly, some people were getting desserts first and appetizers last. People got different dishes than what they ordered, including the professor. And at the end of it all, he still paid.
We promptly blacklisted Applebee's and now nobody in our chapter will set foot in any Applebee's for any reason.
