Most of the parks have been completely shut to motor traffic, which makes so much more space for people - meaning there was little sign of the conflict that can occur when too many people are squeezed into too little space.

Obviously it was a sunny bank holiday but still shows if you build infrastructure to make people feel safe & deter unnecessary car journeys (with the congestion charge), people will happily cycle in very large numbers.
